What's included

The Torrent de Pareis is possibly the finest walk in Mallorca. However, it is a difficult hike which involves some scrambling over rocks and should only be undertaken by experienced hikers in good physical condition.
From the road it is a one hour descent down to the canyon. Once in the gorge we see the large boulders that form the obstacles along the river bed which is our path for the next 4 hours. After a few hundred metres we come to S’Entreforc where the Torrent de Lluc meets the Torrent Gorg Blau and becomes the Torrent de Pareis (the twin rivers). We take a glimpse at Sa Fosca (the darkness), however this canyon is for experienced mountaineers only.
The middle section of the walk is perhaps the easiest, picking our way over the rocks, we become entranced by the scenery; the high rocky walls, the limestone caves, the smooth, water-eroded rocks. Nearing the end of the hike, the walls of the gorge narrow again to three metres across as we navigate the final hurdles, before we are greeted by the beautiful turquoise sea.
We have time for a refreshing swim and a cold drink at one of the beach restaurants. The guided part of the tour ends in Sa Calobra. Each participant receives their boat ticket for the return journey.
There are several departures to choose from, the first one leaving Sa Calobra around 14:00 hrs, the last one sailing at 16:40 hrs (weather dependent). Your guide will inform you of boat times and sea conditions on the day.
If due to rough seas the boat is cancelled, you will be collected by private vehicle.
