What's included

The Soller Valley excursion is designed for those who are new to Soller. It gives the walker an overview of the valley and its beautiful surroundings. We stop for lunch in a typical Mallorquin restaurant in Fornalutx. Although is classed as easy, given the elevation, you still need good basic fitness to enjoy this walk.
Starting from Soller, we head up through almond, orange and lemon groves, passing the ‘Sa Capelleta’ chapel. As we continue, citrus trees make way for the terraces of olive trees, the main source of income for the valley in the 14th and 15th centuries.
We enjoy spectacluar views over the valley and the tramuntana mountain range before we descend into the picturesque village of Fornalutx, where we stop for lunch. After lunch we continue through the Aleppo pine forest, to the hamlet of Binibassí, whose houses date back to the 16th century, where we begin our descent back to Soller.
