What's included

This excursion is only suitable for experienced hikers with a good head for heights. We prefer that you undertake at least one other difficult hike with us beforehand.
The tour begins near Cuber reservoir, passes up through a valley before scrambling up the flank of the southern end of Puig Massanella. We cross a limestone plateau to the peak of Massanella. It makes a great spot for lunch as well as offering a 360 degree viewpoint of the island. We then descend across the rocky plateau known as ‘Pla de sa Neu’ (plateau of snow) to the edge of a holm oak forest. From here we have another 2 hrs on forest tracks down to Lluc, where the hike ends.
We must exit through the private estate of Comafreda, where there is a fee of 7€ levied per person by the estate. (Fee not included in tour price, payable in cash only.) From here it`s another 30 minutes walk to Lluc Monastery, where we can enjoy a well deserved coffee and cake before returning by public bus back to Soller / Port Soller.
We offer open group tours from April to October only, as there is a public bus option.
From November to March this excursion is only available as a private tour.
