MID APRIL TO MID OCTOBER
Enjoy a morning’s guided sea kayaking excursion, starting and finishing in Port Soller. After familiarising ourselves with the kayak accompanied by a qualified guide, we paddle out of the bay, along the coastline, towards Cala Tuent in the north east.
We explore our beautiful coast line with its caves, blowholes and rocky inlets.
After leaving the harbour we paddle towards s’Illeta, a small island, about 4 kilometres from the port and home to a colony of cormorants. We stop for a swim and a picnic along the way – bring water and snacks!
Nearby is an exceptionally large cave – the Vell Mari, more than 500 metres deep. You will have a chance to paddle inside before turning back and heading for Port Soller.
Prices: 75€ per person based on a minimum group of 6 people.
Requirements: Previous sea kayaking experience is not required. You must be a good swimmer.
Included: Sea kayak hire (single or tandem), expert tuition from a qualified guide, life jackets, support boat.
Start: 10:00 hrs
Total time: approximately 3 1/2 – 4hours.
What to bring: Wear your swimming costume, shorts, shirt, hat, sunglasses and suncream / rashguard. Bring along about 1,5 l water per person and a picnic. Water thight containers are provided. There is a supervised storage space on the beach where you can leave your towels etc.
If bringing your phone/camera, we advise on a water thight sleeve in addition to the containers provided.
We reserve the right to cancel an excursion at short notice in the event of rough seas or an unfavourable weather forecast.
