How far can I go?

One of the most common questions we get asked is: “How far can I go on an e-bike?” While the battery and motor set the potential range, the actual distance depends just as much on you: your fitness, the assistance level you choose, how hard you pedal, and how hilly the route is. Less fit riders tend to rely on higher-assist modes, which reduces range. You should not need motor assistance when riding on the flats or downhills.

The Scott Fastlane 20 comes with the TQ HPR40 motor (40 Nm) and a 290 Wh battery, plus a 160 Wh range extender. In the mountainous terrain around Soller, this setup typically gives a range of 80–120 km, depending on how much you pedal. Fitter riders who contribute more of their own power may exceed this distance.
