OCTOBER TO APRIL
Canyoning is scrambling, climbing, jumping, abseiling and/or swimming through a canyon. Mallorca with its limestone rocks boasts many canyons that have been carved out over millions of years by water.
The Torrente de Na Mora has been formed by the rainfalls at the foot of our highest mountain, the Puig Mayor, and finishes in the sea.
We start our excursion in Port Sóller with a 15 minute drive to the Mirador de Ses Barques. From here it’s just over an hours walk into the Balitx valley, past the old farmhouses to the riverbed, where we enter the canyon.
The canyon offers fabulous jumps, abseils and other fascinating features like “Sa Fosqueta” and finally exits to the sea.
We return back to Port Sóller by boat. (approx. 30 min)
