Duration: 4½ hours
It's a 30-minute drive from Soller to the start of this scenic circular walk, at the Font des Noguer.
The first section of the path ascends rapidly up to the highest point of our hike, the Coll de Sa Coma des Ases at 903 metres.
We are rewarded here with fabulous views of the Cuber reservoir below and on a clear day, across to the Bay of Alcudia.
From here, we begin to descend into the Tossals Verds valley, an area where wild growing orchids can often be found.
Along this path there is a steep section with wire holds that must be negotiated, before arriving at the refuge of Tossals Verds.
The remote refuge makes an idyllic spot for a picnic, or a home-cooked Mallorcan lunch.
Leaving the refuge we ascend once more on an easy, winding path, through farmland and holm oak forest, before reaching the Coll des Coloms, 808 metres.
From here, it is a gentle walk back to the Font des Noguer.
