We offer a morning's guided kayaking excursion, starting and finishing from the Playa d'en Repic beach in Puerto Soller. The first 20 minutes are spent in the bay, where you will have the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the kayak and receive instructions from a qualified guide. Once you feel comfortable, you will paddle out of the bay and along the coastline, in the direction of Cala Tuent in the north east.
There are lots of interesting features along the coast, such as caves, blowholes and rocky inlets, which the guide will point out to you along the way.
If you are lucky you may come across a dolphin or two. The aim of the tour is to reach s'Illeta, a small island, about 4 kilometres from Playa d'en Repic. The island is home to a large colony of cormorants.
Nearby is an exceptionally large cave - the Vell Mari - which is more than 500 metres deep. You will have a chance to paddle inside before turning back and heading for Puerto Soller.
Total Time: approximately 3 hours.
Previous sea kayaking experience is not required.
We reserve the right to cancel an excursion at short notice in the event of rough seas or an unfavourable weather forecast.
Prices: 50€ per person based on a minimum group of 6 people.
Price includes sea kayak hire (single or tandem) and expert tuition from a qualified guide.
